Compare eight AI SDR tools by public pricing, automation scope and buyer fit. Separate outbound, operator-led workflows and inbound conversion before buying.
The best AI SDR tool is the one that covers the work your team needs handled. RegieGO and Clay suit teams that want to direct their own workflows. AiSDR, Coldreach, Artisan, Rhycon and 11x are worth evaluating for broader outbound automation. Qualified's Piper belongs in an inbound comparison: it engages buyers who are already showing interest.
Disclosure: this guide is published by Rhycon, which is included below. We compared public vendor information checked on 11 September 2026. This is a buyer shortlist, not a hands-on test or a ranking of measured performance. Prices are in USD. Where we could not verify a public price, we say so instead of treating third-party estimates as quotes.
Compare the job before the price
“AI SDR” can mean research assistance, a configurable prospecting workspace, automated outbound, or inbound lead engagement. Those products have different inputs and operating requirements. A tool that drafts messages for a seller and a system that handles incoming conversations are not interchangeable purchases.
Start with three questions: where do prospects come from, which steps should run automatically, and who handles exceptions? Then compare the subscription, usage allowances, human work and contract terms for that exact process.
Eight AI SDR tools at a glance
Tool | Public price reference | Primary evaluation angle |
|---|---|---|
RegieGO by Regie.ai | Free; Pro $49/month | Individual prospecting workspace with AI assistance |
Clay | Free; Launch headline from $167/month | Configurable research, data and workflow automation |
AiSDR | Solo $250; Explore $900; Scale $2,500/month | Outbound with defined contact allowances |
Coldreach | No public price verified | Signal-led prospect discovery and outreach |
Artisan / Ava | Custom quote | Outbound automation with rollout support |
Rhycon | Pricing on request | Research, personalized outreach, replies and meetings |
11x / Alice | No public price verified | Broader outbound workflow deployment |
Qualified / Piper | Custom quote | Inbound buyer engagement and conversion |
Entry prices are not like-for-like total costs. Check billing cadence, commitment, contact or credit allowances, extra services and the work your team must still perform.
1. RegieGO: for an individual directing their prospecting
Regie.ai lists a free RegieGO plan with 250 one-time credits and a single-user workspace. Pro is $49 monthly with 5,000 credits each month. The workspace includes research, enrichment, drafting, a dialer and agents, with sending through connected Gmail or Outlook. Pro credits do not roll over. Enterprise is custom. Source: Regie.ai pricing.
Our assessment: a relevant starting point when one person wants an integrated prospecting workspace. Ask the demo to show exactly which steps run automatically and which need review. Do not reduce the product to an email-writing feature, or assume that a credit allowance equals the same number of researched prospects.
2. Clay: for teams building a configurable workflow
Clay's free plan includes 500 actions and 100 data credits per month. The pricing page displays Launch from $167 monthly and Growth from $446, with configurable action and data-credit allowances. It supports multi-provider enrichment, Claygent research and a native email sequencer, as well as integrations. Source: Clay pricing.
Our assessment: shortlist Clay when someone on your team will build and maintain the process. Its native sequencer means “Clay cannot send emails” is an outdated comparison. Evaluate how research, data purchases, sending and reply ownership fit together in the workflow you build, and price the selected action and credit configuration.
3. AiSDR: for published outbound contact allowances
AiSDR lists Solo at $250 monthly for 200 AI-researched contacts, one user, one domain and three mailboxes. Explore is $900 for 800 contacts, and Scale is $2,500 for 2,500 contacts. Solo runs month to month; the page states that Explore and Scale have quarterly contracts with monthly billing. Managed service options cost extra. Source: AiSDR pricing.
Our assessment: the published allowances make an initial budget easier to model. Solo's headline works out to $1.25 per included researched contact if all 200 are used. That is an allowance calculation, not a cost per reply or meeting. Confirm how contacts are counted, your required integrations and the support included in the selected tier.
4. Coldreach: for finding accounts from buying signals
Coldreach describes discovering accounts using signals such as job openings, company news and website evidence, building targeted lists and automating outreach. We did not verify a public subscription price from its official site. Source: Coldreach product overview.
Our assessment: evaluate it when a specific observable event makes your offer relevant. Ask the vendor to find examples in your actual market and show the supporting evidence. Request a quote defining research volume, outreach, reply handling, integrations and commitment. An unverified flat-price estimate is not enough to compare total cost.
5. Artisan / Ava: for outbound with rollout support
Artisan scopes plans around lead volume, mailboxes and dialer seats. Its Team and Scale references are approximately 2,500 and 6,000 leads contacted monthly. The platform includes automated replies and meeting booking, with onboarding support. Its dialer is an add-on for reps; do not assume Ava makes every phone call autonomously. Source: Artisan pricing and scope.
Our assessment: shortlist it when you want a vendor-supported rollout across your outbound process. In the demo, test approval controls, escalation and CRM behavior. Get the recurring cost, implementation scope and term in writing so support promises and software features are not mixed together.
6. Rhycon: for research, writing and meeting coordination
Rhycon connects prospect sourcing, account research, personalized outreach, reply handling and meeting coordination. Pricing is on request. Your team defines the audience and offer, reviews the evidence and sets qualification expectations. The automation available depends on workspace settings and connected services.
Managed Infrastructure uses Rhycon-owned domains and mailboxes. Connected Senders is a separate option for accounts your team connects. Review the sending options when comparing ownership and setup requirements.
Our assessment: consider Rhycon when researching accounts, producing relevant messages and coordinating replies consume the team's time. If a sending tool is all you need, compare the Lemlist alternatives first. For a wider workflow, explore AI appointment setting with Rhycon or book a 30-minute walkthrough with your audience and current process.
7. 11x / Alice: for a broader outbound deployment
11x positions Alice as its outbound AI SDR, covering engagement across channels, replies and meeting generation. Its voice product Julian is presented separately. We did not verify a public Alice price or a standard contract duration from the official pages reviewed. Source: 11x product overview.
Our assessment: request a scoped demonstration if you want a broad outbound system. Ask which capabilities belong to Alice, what would require another product, and how people review exceptions. Compare the actual quote and exit terms instead of budgeting from unverified annual-contract figures.
8. Qualified / Piper: for inbound buyers
Qualified positions Piper around inbound pipeline generation. Its custom-priced plans include buyer conversations, personalized emails and meeting scheduling, with higher tiers adding features for more complex deployments. Source: Qualified pricing.
Our assessment: shortlist it when you already have relevant inbound interest and need to improve engagement and routing. It is a different evaluation from finding net-new outbound prospects. Review visitor and lead volumes, qualification paths, handoffs and the content Piper will use before comparing it with an outbound subscription.
A practical demo and pilot checklist
Give each shortlisted vendor the same small set of representative accounts and the same description of your offer. Use a demonstration to inspect the workflow before permitting real outreach.
Research: can you inspect the source behind each relevant claim, and reject unsupported personalization?
Control: can a person approve messages, change the audience, pause activity and route sensitive or ambiguous replies?
Contact handling: how are duplicates, existing customers, opt-outs and invalid addresses handled across campaigns?
Workflow: which steps are automatic, who handles the remaining work, and what happens when an integration fails?
Meetings: how are availability, qualification, handoff notes and no-shows managed?
Commercial terms: what are the setup fee, included usage, overages, renewal date and cancellation requirements?
Agree the pilot's audience, activity limit, review owner and success criteria before launch. Track qualified replies, booked meetings, attended meetings and accepted opportunities separately. Record operator time as well as software cost. Our AI sales agent evaluation guide provides a fuller pilot structure.
When to improve the process first
If your offer or target audience is still unclear, use direct conversations to learn what matters before expanding automation. There is no universal customer-count threshold or fixed number of cold emails that proves readiness.
If the list is unsuitable, improve targeting and verify relevance. If messages are being filtered, investigate the sending setup, contact quality and recipient feedback before increasing activity. If interested prospects receive slow or incomplete follow-up, assign a clear reply owner. Software selection should address the identified bottleneck.
Frequently asked questions
What is an AI SDR?
Software that performs some of the work associated with sales development, such as research, prospecting, outreach, qualification or scheduling. The label does not establish the level of autonomy, channels or integrations; inspect the actual workflow.
How much do AI SDR tools cost?
Some products provide a limited free plan, some publish monthly subscriptions and usage allowances, and others quote for the deployment. The table above gives checked entry references. Compare the cost of the same job, including human work and any commitment.
Do AI SDRs replace human SDRs?
That depends on the role and tasks. Automation can cover defined work, but someone still needs to own the offer, judge exceptions and conduct sales conversations. Evaluate responsibilities instead of assuming a job title has been replaced.
Which AI SDR tool should we try first?
Choose a small shortlist based on the bottleneck. Consider an operator-led workspace for direct control, an outbound system for a defined research-to-meeting workflow, and an inbound product for existing buyer interest. Use the same pilot criteria for each.
