Rhycon

Compare seven Lemlist alternatives by current pricing, sending limits and workflow fit. See what Lemlist still does well and when Rhycon is relevant.
The right Lemlist alternative depends on what you want to change. Shortlist Smartlead or Instantly for a sending-focused workflow, Saleshandy for a packaged mix of outreach and lead data, Woodpecker for a contacted-prospect pricing model, Mailshake for rep-led sequences, and Apollo for data plus engagement. Consider Rhycon when researching accounts, writing relevant messages and progressing replies are the work you want help with.
Disclosure: Rhycon publishes this guide and is one of the seven alternatives. This is a comparison of public product information, not a hands-on performance benchmark. Prices were checked on 11 September 2026. All figures are in USD; annual equivalents require annual billing.
What Lemlist still does well
Lemlist combines email outreach with research and enrichment features. Its Email plan is $69 monthly or $55 per month on annual billing, with unlimited users and email senders and a 50,000-email monthly allowance. Multichannel is $109 per user monthly or $87 annually, with five senders per user, LinkedIn and SMS automation, and a built-in dialer. Lemwarm is included in all plans. Enrichment and other credit-based activity can add to the bill. Source: Lemlist pricing.
If your team uses these channels together, compare the full replacement stack before switching. Unlimited sender connections alone are not a reason to leave: Lemlist already offers them on Email. Decide whether the constraint is price, channel coverage, data quality or the time your team spends operating campaigns.
Lemlist alternatives at a glance
Tool | Price reference | Shortlist when |
|---|---|---|
Smartlead | Base: $39 monthly; $32.50 annual equivalent | You already operate the research and message workflow |
Instantly | Growth outreach: $47 monthly | You want sending with separate data options |
Saleshandy | Starter: $41 monthly; $34 annual equivalent | You want outreach and lead credits together |
Woodpecker | Calculator displays $7 per 100 contacted prospects | You prefer a prospect allowance over seat pricing |
Mailshake | Starter: $29 monthly; $25 annual equivalent | Reps own simple sequences and follow-through |
Apollo | Free plan; Basic $49/user/month annually | Contact data and engagement belong in one tool |
Rhycon | Pricing on request | Research, writing and reply coordination are the bottleneck |
These entry prices buy different allowances. A monthly software subscription does not necessarily include mailboxes, domains, data, every channel or the people operating it. Check the selected configuration before purchase.
1. Smartlead: for teams running their own outbound process
Smartlead lists Base at $39 monthly for 2,000 stored contacts and 6,000 email sends. Pro is $94 for 30,000 contacts and 90,000 sends; Unlimited Smart is $174 with unlimited contact storage and 150,000 sends. “Unlimited” does not mean unlimited email volume. Verified prospect emails are a separate add-on on Base and Pro, while higher tiers include an allowance. Source: Smartlead pricing.
Our assessment: shortlist it when sending capacity is the part you need to buy. Model your complete campaign, including follow-ups, against the allowance. Ask about client workspaces and any calling requirements separately; a low sending price is not a complete operating budget.
2. Instantly: for a modular sending and data setup
Instantly's Growth outreach plan is $47 monthly with unlimited connected email accounts, warmup, 1,000 uploaded contacts and 5,000 emails per month. Its pricing page separates outreach, credits and bundles. The $47 outreach price should not be read as the price of every Instantly feature. Source: Instantly pricing.
Our assessment: useful to evaluate if you want to choose sending and prospect-data capacity separately. Check uploaded-contact limits as carefully as send limits. Features marketed for deliverability are not evidence that one tool will outperform another for your audience, so compare real replies and account health during a controlled pilot.
3. Saleshandy: for packaged outreach and lead credits
Saleshandy Starter is $41 monthly or $34 per month billed annually. Pro is $99 monthly or $76 annually; Scale is $189 monthly or $149 annually. Starter has one user, Pro ten users, and Scale no seat limit. This matters if you are budgeting for several people, even when the sending allowance looks sufficient. Source: Saleshandy pricing and plan comparison.
Our assessment: compare it when you want prospecting and outreach within one subscription. Test the included data against your actual target roles and countries. Count the credits needed for research and contact details, and confirm the user, mailbox and integration limits of the exact tier.
4. Woodpecker: for a contacted-prospect allowance
Woodpecker's calculator displays a $7-per-100-contacted-prospects rate, with annual discounts and separately configured add-ons. Treat that as a calculator rate, not a guaranteed total subscription price. Its billing definition can count a prospect when a campaign performs an action such as verification or a first-step LinkedIn action, not only when an email is sent. Sources: Woodpecker pricing and billing metrics.
Our assessment: shortlist it if a prospect-based allowance matches your planning. Price the selected allowance, required add-ons and renewal terms. Do not assume that a quiet month automatically produces a usage-based refund or a smaller bill.
5. Mailshake: for rep-led sequences
Mailshake publishes Starter at $29 monthly or $25 on annual billing, Email Outreach at $49 or $45, and Sales Engagement at $99 or $85. Starter includes one email address and 1,500 monthly sends. All three list warmup. Sales Engagement adds a power dialer; Agency has custom pricing. Source: Mailshake pricing.
Our assessment: evaluate it for a sales team that will still write, review and run its sequences. Check the account and user configuration in your quote, especially if you need several connected senders. It is inaccurate to describe Mailshake as having no deliverability features or no published sending limits.
6. Apollo: for contact data and engagement together
Apollo offers a free plan and lists Basic at $49 per user per month on annual billing. Its own current comparison describes Basic with 30,000 credits per year and unlimited sequences. Credit systems and feature access can differ for legacy accounts. Sources: Apollo's plan summary and pricing page.
Our assessment: shortlist Apollo when the main issue is finding the right contacts and moving them into a repeatable engagement process. Test coverage on a sample of your market before judging the database by its headline size. Confirm credit consumption and export requirements for your workflow instead of relying on old free-plan allowance claims.
7. Rhycon: for the research-to-meeting workflow
Rhycon brings prospect sourcing, account research, personalized outreach, reply handling and meeting coordination into one workflow. Pricing is on request. Managed Infrastructure uses Rhycon-owned domains and mailboxes; Connected Senders is a separate option using accounts your team connects. Automation depends on workspace settings and connected services.
Our assessment: consider Rhycon when the work before and after sending takes too much time. If your team already has good lists, researched messages and a reliable reply process, a dedicated sequencer may cover the missing requirement. Review the AI appointment-setting workflow and sending options, or book a 30-minute Rhycon walkthrough to discuss scope and pricing.
Compare the complete cost before switching
Use the same target audience and intended workflow for every quote. Write down the number of users, connected mailboxes, new prospects, follow-up steps, data lookups, required channels and integrations. Then add setup effort and the time someone will spend reviewing research and replies.
For example, 1,000 new contacts with three planned emails each would require up to 3,000 sends if every contact reached every step. Real campaigns should stop or change course when a person replies or opts out. An allowance of 1,000 uploaded contacts and an allowance of 1,000 sends are different constraints.
Before migrating, preserve suppression lists and opt-outs, export the campaign history you need, assign ownership of replies and test with a small approved segment. Review the AI SDR tools comparison if you need broader automation, and the cold email metrics guide to judge qualified conversations instead of activity alone.
Frequently asked questions
Which Lemlist alternative is cheapest?
There is no universal cheapest option. Compare the same users, contacts, sends, data and channels. A free plan or calculator rate may not cover your workload, while annual equivalents require a larger commitment.
Is Instantly better than Lemlist?
Instantly Growth and Lemlist Email have different contact and sending allowances. Lemlist Multichannel adds a different channel mix. Choose around the exact workflow and total cost, then test quality on your own audience; this guide does not establish a performance winner.
Will switching tools fix poor deliverability?
A tool change alone does not establish why messages are being filtered. Review audience relevance, contact quality, authentication, sending behavior and recipient feedback before increasing activity.
When should I choose Rhycon instead of a sequencer?
When you need help connecting prospect research, relevant writing, replies and meeting coordination. Bring your current process to a walkthrough so the comparison includes the work your team would otherwise perform.
